Observation
Juvenile crabs cling on sea pig cucumbers in the bottom of the ocean and nodoby knows why. This paper hypothesizes that the crabs benefit from this association as a nursery or refugium from predation. There does not seem to be any benefit for the sea pig cucumbers. Photo: MBARI.org
