Observation

Varroa mites are a major challenge for #honeybee (Apis mellifera) health. When mites feed on bee haemolymph they can also infect them with harmful viruses (eg deformed wing virus). Mites hitchhike on Honeybees change hosts on flowers & move to other hives. Photo credit @USDA ZachHuang & David Peck
