Stenotrachelus aeneus (+) Pollination (+) Halimium atriplicifolium
Observation
Lobonyx aeneus (~5 mm) is the only representative in Iberia of the small family Prionoceridae, an old lineage dating back at least to the Jurassic. This species is tightly associated to, and pollinates, flowers of Cistus and Halimium (Cistaceae). Here on H. atriplicifolium.
